Part one of the Mark Michael Hayduk Memorial Street Hockey Tournament is fast approaching.The pub night is coming up next weekend on Saturday, May 13 to help raise more awareness about the upcoming tournament in June and give those who can’t make the tournament an opportunity to support the cause.Now in its fifth year, the tournament started in memory of Mark Hayduk, a local resident who was passionate about sports, particularly hockey. His family and friends created the tournament to honour his love of sports and help the Leduc chapter of Jumpstart. Since the tournament started, they have been able to raise around $75,000 for a cause that is more than fitting to support.athleticism was only surpassed by the character in which it contributed to define.
